Lanai City for the First Time Visitor
Many people who take the extra effort to come and visit the wonderful island of Lanai are actually surprised to see how developed it is. That is especially the case for those that came to the island year before when there were no Four Seasons resorts on the island. Now, I’m not saying that the Lanai hotels count as huge development of the island, but they are some impressive island resorts and compared to how things were before they appeared, it is surprising. However, Lanai City has stayed pretty much the same over the year. A small town with pineapple plantation roots that opens late and closes early and goes to church on Sunday.
