The No Cost Staten Island Ferry
The Staten Island ferry can still be traveled on without cost and can offer excellent photo opportunities of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty, this is also a great place to spend some time enjoying the talents of local (almost professional) street entertainers.
Without going to the site of where the World Trade Center Towers used to be no a short vacation visit to New York would feel right. Despite the moving nature of this place where over 3,000 people lost their lives, most people do not wish to take a picture of it. World famous stores are plentiful in New York with names like Tiffany’s to the many discount stores along Broadway.
