Parenthood
Society is telling people today that they should not become parents; the responsibilities are too great and we should each just have fun in this life. This is very sad, because mormon doctrine teaches that it is our Heavenly Father’s plan for us each to have families here that we might gain experience and know unconditional love to help prepare us to have eternal families after this life. The mormon doctrine of righteous men and women becoming gods and goddesses is unique in Christianity, but brings some of the greatest incentives to live good lives and have good families on this earth.
