It’s Different Here
When you live in a conservative state like I do, people who come to visit are always surprised. As a small example, I’ve seen dozens of people wandering around the grocery store dreadfully confused looking for the alcohol section. You can’t buy anything but beer or wine coolers here without going to the liquor store. Also, we don’t have any sort of gambling. While New York lottery numbers help pay for schools in that state, we are completely dependant on local and federal resources. We are actually surprisingly efficient anyways. We give a pretty good education to the kids considering that we have one of the lowest budgets in the country.
