The Appeal of Guitar Music is Timeless

When I was young my mother played records of her many beloved guitar artists.  These included everything from Jazz to Spanish Guitar.  The melodies were often very old but still popular and became the background of almost everything I did.  I continued to listen to that music my whole life and recently decided I wanted to play the guitar myself.  I bought a guitar lesson dvd and began practicing.  Naturally I’m not nearly as good as the artists I’ve been listening to for so long, but it still feels wonderful to be making those beautiful sounds, no matter  how basic.
