Water Damage Snuck In
Living in Florida, water damage is a real possibility during hurricane season. If a storm blows through, whether it is a Category 1 or 5, rain is inevitable. And with rain comes the possibility of flooding. If it’s a major storm, forget it! Even if you are lucky and your house appears to be fine, water can be seeping in unbeknownst to you. That’s what happened to a friend of mine. Six months went by after a storm before she knew that their home had water damage under the carpets. It’s still confusing about how it happened, but they called an expert and they were able to take care of the problem.
