My Mother, Bless Her Heart

I have decided to do some renovations to our home.  Since our home is a log home, I intend to use Cabin Furniture.  My mother is having a fit.  She is complaining that when people will come into my home they will think my home is old.  Why would I want to buy new furniture for my home to make it look old.  She feels that everything should modern and contemporary.  I am trying to explain to her that the furniture I am buying is also comfortable, well built, and fits with my home, but she will absolutely hear nothing of it.  She can be difficult at times.
