Getting Apartment Insurance For Renters

I was recently at a conference discussing insurance and the comment was made that anything can be insured anymore. I thought the statement was rather amusing but I have noticed that more and more types of insurance are becoming available to the public. I recently became aware of apartment insurance for renters. This type of coverage will pay for or replace any items that is lost or damaged in an event that affects the residence of the renter. This may include anything from a fire to a burst pipe that floods their apartment with water. It would even cover items lost in theft.
