Learn Through Play Store

My daughter loves to play store.  She will take thirty minutes or so going through her things and setting them up for sale.  For her last birthday we got her a used cash register to play with, not a toy one.  We usually take part of an afternoon, invite a few friends over, and they learn through play.  They have a great time shopping, and use play money to make their purchases.  All the children have now learned the different coins and bill amounts, how to count their money, and even how to run the cash register and make change.  Next I think we will add some items that cost more than they are given, and see if they can learn how to save for the next time.
