Crunchy cruciferous veggies

There is a family of plants which include broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and cabbages.  They are known as cruciferous vegetables.  They are crunchy in texture when eaten raw, and gassy in nature to alot of humans.  They are in the brassica family I believe.  These wonder veggies are being dried and used in all kinds of vitamins and supplements.  They are natures fat burners.  These types of vegetables that help burn fat are very easily grown in the home garden, and are best used organically grown.  I love steamed cabbage with sage.  It is one of my favorite veggie side dishesespecially with butter.
