Brita Filter Jugs Are Better For The Environment

I recently read that if all the empty bottles that were used for shipping drinking water were stacked end to end they would stretch to the moon and back – 56 times! That’s a lot of bottles and the majority of them (the best estimate is 75%) go to landfill – although they are capable of being recycled. I also read that the manufacturing process requires three times as much water as the finished bottle contains – it seems crazy. That’s why I use a Brita filter jug - it’s a lot kinder to the environment and I save a lot of money when compared to bottled water prices as well.
