What to Consider before Switching to a New Supplier
Because of very high electricity charges and rates, most consumers are thinking of switching electricity suppliers. However, before you jump ship, you need to consider a few things. For example, are you under debt with your current supplier? If you are, they might prevent you from switching until your account clears of all outstanding balances. You can make arrangements and ask them to debit your bank account directly each month, but there might be a possibility that they will automatically debit the amount even after you’ve paid the debt off. Therefore, you need to talk to your current supplier first and work out arrangements if you really want to switch to a new supplier.
