How Many Countries Recognize Chartered Accountants?

As the world grows and grows and globalization brings us all a little closer in the business world it has become increasingly important for countries to implement safe trade practices and guidelines. In an effort to do so many countries have assembled organizations to designate chartered accountants and what requirements must be met to fulfill that position. These countries include but are not limited to Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Canada, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Other countries have been encouraged to adopt these same regulations since many businesses are being routinely run in several countries at a time.
