Get Specific and Get Traffic
Doing some research recently I decided to do a search for a keyword that I thought was likely to bring up my personal website in a search engine. Despite the fact that my site gets a large number of visits I was shocked that it fell behind thousands and thousands of others. The reason? Keyword Competition. I have built a site that revolves around visiting North Carolina beaches. The keywords I originally targeted were “North Carolina beaches.” Needing to make myself stand out, I decided to get more specific and target “North Carolina beaches for families.” I think this will help me find my niche and more visitors.
