Credit Cards and the road
At first I really didn’t know what to do. The company has just started a field sales team and they were starting to be in the position where they needed to be taking credit card processing orders whilst they were out on the road.
They started off by phoning in the orders to our telephone sales team. However, this was tying up that team so we needed another solution. thats when our merchant account provider informed up that they could offer mobile credit card processing facilities. It consisted of a mobile card processing terminal that could be easily transported with the sales rep to the client. Taking orders was as easy as doing it through the normal methods.
