Completely Design Your Own T Shirts

How does one begin to design your own T shirts at any time?  There might be some problems with coming up with ideas, but the best way to do that is to just begin brainstorming some thoughts and ideas.  Sit down with a piece of paper or a computer and just start writing.  Whatever comes to your mind in phrases or words, write them down.  When you go back and look at what you have written there might be some things that will inspire you where a design is concerned so that you can go back and think about pictures to go with the phrases.
