A good tip I can give you to start off is to learn the electric guitar basics instead of trying to do it all very early on. Doing that will just frustrate you to the point that you will want to quit trying. The electric guitar basics are the parts of the process that get you going in the right direction but will not frustrate you to the point of wanting to put the instrument down and never picking it up again. It is the right place for everyone of all ages to start. Even if you are only a little bit interested, it is a good idea to at least try this out.
